Reinstalling the remediation service
I have an Inspiron 15 5584 running Windows 10. I have been trying to re-install the dell support remediation service. because ei thas been stopping on my old machine periodically. The problem I have is that since the Dell update has now disappeared I cannot find it using the dell w/s.
Can someone please tell me how to find this?

You should be able to use SupportAssist to check for updates, which should then download the SupportAssist Remediation software if needed. Dell Update can still be downloaded here.
Note that SA Remediation will occasionally take snapshots of your system configuration and files, much like the System Restore feature in Windows does. This is helpful if you need to roll your computer back to a working state from the OS Recovery partition, but this can consume up to 20 GB of storage space. SA Remediation is optional, you don't have to install it if you don't need it.

Hang on a mo. I seem to have just had a notification saying it has just finished installing. Assuming it's the plugin I installed shortly after. Will have to look further into this...
