Realtek Audio
I have a 2 year old Inspirion i5-1135G7 and have had nothing but trouble with the Realtek Audio. I've deleted & reloaded the software about a dozen times, it'll work for 3- 4 days and then start dropping the Bluetooth connection. Dell refuses to talk to me unless I spent $90 on a warranty plant which I refuse to do, warranty is for something that breaks, this software was broken when installed at the factory. the fact they still don't have a patch that works is enough to get me to never purchase a Dell product again. this is my 3rd Inspirion, the first two were absolutely great, long lasting, problem free, durable machines. this one is just a piece of garbage.. music is a constant when I'm on the computer, meaning my $700 laptop is a boat anchor. spend your money elsewhere, Dell has lost it's direction, if they'd published a fix I wouldn't be so harsh, but not having a readily available fix just proves they do not care about you once they have your money, unless that is you want to give them more money. I think I'll put that $90 towards a new Samsung....

To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.
