random restarts/BSODs after gaming
**Device**: Dell G15 5520 (RTX 3060, i7-12700H, 16GB RAM, Windows 11)- After closing games, the laptop would **randomly restart** or **BSOD**- **No overheating** (GPU/CPU temps normal: <85°C under load).- **Event Viewer logs** showed:- `nvlddmkm.sys` crashes**Trigger**:- Occurred **only after exiting games**, not during gameplay.**Troubleshooting Attempted1. Updated BIOS & GPU drivers (DDU clean install).2. Disabled Windows Fast Startup.3. Ran Dell Diagnostics (no hardware errors found).4. Tested RAM
5-Set NVIDIA power mode to "Prefer Maximum Performance
Likely NVIDIA Driver/Power-State Bug:
Crashes occurred when GPU transitioned from high-power (gaming) to idle.
what should i do ?

Update or Reinstall Drivers:
Start by updating or reinstalling the NVIDIA graphics drivers. Use a tool like DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to remove existing drivers before installing a fresh set.
Adjust Power Settings:
Set power settings to "Maximum Performance" to prevent the GPU from entering power-saving modes that might cause crashes.

Well check for the following:
1. Gaming stresses your CPU and GPU. Overheating can cause restarts or BSODs.
2. Check for the Outdated BIOS or firmware can cause compatibility issues
3. Corrupt system files can lead to this kind of issue as well.
4. Power Supply (PSU) Issues
5. Outdated Driver can also be the cause of this issue as well. So check your graphics driver and make sure it is updated to it's latest version.

@DELL-Jesse L my drivers is updated.. nvidia driver is the lateset version.. also tried older version from dell and nvidia site.. the same issue .. the gpu freeze the laptop only when idle.but when But when it is consumed it does not cause any problems,, also tried prefer maximum performance.. and the bios is updated. clean install of windows 11 ..the same problem exist.Crashes occurred when GPU transitioned from high-power (gaming) to idle.
When I turn on the laptop and open a game directly, there is no freezing. But when I am on the desktop for a while, the device freezes.
