RAM of two speeds 5600 and 4800MT/s dell g5 5530

HI!

i have a brand new dell g5 5530 with 1 soddimm of 16gb DDR5, i bought a new memory to extend it to 32gb ( Kingstone fury 4800 MT/s 16Gb DDR5 as stated on the owners manual..).

But once installed, the led indicators led, trow 2 ambar and 4 whites, according to the manual, that means "Memory/RAM failure

i didnt realize that the RAM that came installed with the laptop was 5600 MT/s until I see this error,

IS it possible to resolver this?, is it possible to change some settings

the new memory works if is connected alone (1 channel only), but is either one or the other...

thanks!

The problem isn't the speed but rather the aggressive timing of the gaming RAM.  It's designed for systems that allow for adjusting the memory timing.  Your system has no such provision.

The RAM will never work with your G-Inspiron.  Return it.  If you wish to purchase Kingston memory for your system, it's this memory:

Use a memory configurator such as the Kingston one, or from another manufacturer such as Crucial that has the same

Otherwise, be sure you understand your supplier's restocking charge and return policy.
