Plus 7430 starts to run slow when USB-C port used (iPhone or any device attached)
My Dell Inspiron Plus 7430 start to run very slow (slow web pages, slow keyboard, slow Alt-Tab etc) when I plug anything into the USB-C port like an iphone or other device (non-powering). As soon as I plug in the power supply it runs fine with the USB-C device attached. Unable to determine why and sure it did not do that originally. Only effects USB-C. Am able to use USB port (to charge phone) just fine.
Any ideas?

Hello @lennoxsd, how are you?
It sounds like the laptop is aggressively throttling the processor to save battery when it detects an extra device drawing power via USB-C.
To fix it, try updating the BIOS and Chipset drivers. You can also check your Power Settings in Windows or the MyDell app (set Thermal Management to 'Ultra Performance' or something like that).

Thanks. Updating BIOS here and will check Power Settings. Seems that should not expect this behavior which is what I assumed and that not normal. Will update here should I resolve this with the few steps above.
