Lifted up 'N' key on Inspiron 5502 but can't put it back
Since my N key was not responding readily, I tried to lift up the key and now I don't know how the white bracket goes back. Please see picture.
1) Is it this way the bracket should go?

2) Or is it this way the bracket should go. I flipped it left to right

Since your other thread indicates the keyboard isn't working properly and needs replacement, it does not really matter - you need to replace the palmrest assembly anyway.

@ejn63 when I took the back off to check the battery, I found I cannot screw back the case completely. Two of the shorter screws fall out and The two long screws that go into the back cannot be screwed back on. Is this common?

If you reversed the locations of the long and short screws, that can happen, yes.
