What system do you have and what is the OS installed?
The error message "The Battery pack is removed or less than 25%" on a Dell laptop indicates a problem with the battery, either because it's not properly connected or it's not holding enough charge. Here's how to troubleshoot:
1. Check Physical Connection:
Remove and Reinstall:
Turn off the laptop, unplug the AC adapter, and if your laptop has a removable battery, carefully remove it and then reinstall it.
Inspect for Damage:
Look for any signs of damage to the battery or the battery connector on the laptop.
Check Cable Connection:
If the battery is not removable, ensure the battery cable is securely connected to the motherboard.
2. Run Diagnostics:
Dell SupportAssist: If installed, use Dell SupportAssist to run a battery diagnostic.
Pre-Boot System Assessment: Turn on the laptop and press F12 repeatedly to access the One Time Boot Menu. Select "Diagnostics" and follow the on-screen instructions to run the test.
3. Battery Calibration (If Applicable):
Discharge and Charge:
Unplug the AC adapter and use the laptop normally until the battery is fully discharged and the system shuts down.
Recharge Fully:
Plug the AC adapter back in and charge the battery to 100% without interruption.
