If your laptop screen isn’t showing anything, here are a few things you can try:

1. Check the display brightness – It might be turned down completely.

2. External Monitor Test – Connect your laptop to an external monitor or TV using HDMI or VGA. If it displays there, it’s likely a screen or backlight issue.

3. Power Reset – Turn off the laptop, disconnect the charger, and remove the battery (if possible). Hold the power button for 30 seconds, then reconnect and power it on.

4. Boot into BIOS – Restart the laptop and press F2 repeatedly. If the BIOS screen shows up, then it's probably a software or driver issue.

5. Keyboard Shortcut – Try pressing Fn + F8 (or Fn + Display toggle key) to switch displays.

If none of this works, it could be a hardware problem, and contacting Dell Support might be the best next step.
