Laptop not shutdown

To turn off your PC in Windows 10 or 11, select the Start  button, select the Power  button, and then select Shut down .

To force shutdown, users can press and hold the laptop power button for 7 seconds.  Since the keyboard is not working, you can just close the laptop lid.  Then, disconnect the power adapter and remove the laptop battery.

Well to shutdown the your laptop by press and hold the power button on your laptop for 5–10 seconds.Then the screen will go black and the laptop will shut down.

• Unplug any external keyboard/mouse if you attach any other to your laptop
• Reset the laptop by hold power for 10 sec and turn back on
• Then Go to Device Manager > Keyboard and try to update or reinstall drivers
