Laptop battery no longer charges
So, there was this moment when I hit my fist next to my laptop's touchpad, and since then, my laptop hasn't charged.
It's a Dell G7 7790
The yellow light on the side is flashing
My battery is losing 2-3% every day (currently 65%)
I've already run a hardware test via HWiNFO, and everything seems fine.
The laptop is otherwise running perfectly, but the battery isn't charging anymore.
The battery was already very weak before, and the battery report showed a capacity of 1.52 mWh (now decreasing daily) instead of 60 mWh.
I've already ordered the new battery, but I'm afraid it won't solve the non-charging issue.
Do you have any ideas as to why it's not charging and/or where I should best look for it and/or how I can find the problem?

Go into setup to ensure that both the AC adapter and the battery are detected -- if either is not properly detected, the battery will not charge.
If the AC adapter is detected but the battery isn't, the new battery will solve that.
If the AC adapter is not detected, replace it with a new, OEM one -- if that is also not detected, replace the DC input jack.

If you have more than one usb c power delivery, unplug the less powerful one and see if that affects charge rate.
