KM7321W mouse and keyboard bluetooth not reconnecting after power toggle
KM7321W keyboard and mouse combo Bluetooth REconnection Failure on Inspiron 14 7440
Issue: Keyboard and mouse lose Bluetooth connectivity with Inspiron laptop after a power toggle on mouse or keyboard. I also have a similar issue when switching keyboard and mouse back and forth to another channel (meaning connecting to another computer).
The combo has 3 channels
Channel Configuration:
Channel 1: USB dongle (works 100% on Inspiron)
Channel 2: Bluetooth to Inspiron (problematic)
Channel 3: Used with other Samsung system Windows 10 (works perfectly)
Only way to reconnect after losing connectivity, is to toggle off/on Bluetooth on Inspiron laptop.
The following Troubleshooting steps have already been done:
Power Management: Disabled "Allow computer to turn off" for Bluetooth adapter and HID devices (in device manager).
BIOS/Drivers: installed latest BIOS (from dell support assist),and Bluetooth drivers(from intel support assistant) for Inspiron 7440.
Updated mouse and keyboard firmware (dell peripheral manager)
Clean Pairing: Removed all Bluetooth mouse and keyboard pairings from Inspiron, reset KM7321W to channel 2 pairing.
