My keyboard stopped working March 5, 2025 and Dell is telling me, it is going to take till May 17 to get replacement. I was on phone for hours with no resolution. My option is notebook is unrepairable so they should replace, if you can not get part for 2 to 3 months, computer is worthless. Dell says we understand your frustration but nothing we can do you have to suffer.

If it's not working at all, it needs to be replaced. On most newer systems, that means replacing the palmrest assembly.
Post the model number of the system (Inspiron 3501, 3593, etc.) if you need a part reference.
