Keyboard multiple keys not working

Notebook is about 7 months old and several keys on keyboard stopped working. I contacted Dell support March 5 2025 they ran test and concluded the keyboard needed to be replaced, great lets swap it out and get it up in running NOT, part is backordered till May 17 2025,  MAYBE talked with several people and Dell can not guarantee that date. I said notebook is not repairable please replace, Dell said its repairable, I asked if that is true where can I take it to get it fixed their reply you can't no one in the world has the part for at lest 3 to 4 months. To me that means it is currently unrepairable for the an undetermined time and what if it is not the keyboard that's broke, then notebook could be unusable for at least 4 to 5 months. Am I wrong or should they replace their deflective product that they can not repair for minimum of 3 months.
