KEYBOARD AND MOUSE WITHOUT RECEIVER

A month ago, my house was robbed and my laptop was stolen, along with the keyboard and mouse receivers. Both are in perfect working order, but they don't work without the receiver. Is it possible to enable a new receiver for these two devices, or is the only solution to simply discard the entire set?
