Issue with Laptop

Hi

Please can you confirm the Make Model and OS, along with any configuration details like touch screen, backlit keyboard, SFF or tower etc etc.

AND perhaps more details and what steps you have tried to repair/resolve this.

You have not mentioned model or any particular reason to help you out but here are some common things that you can try-

If it turns on but nothing shows on screen:

1. Try connecting to an external monitor or TV.

2. Look for keyboard lights or fan noise — if it’s on but screen is black, it might be a display or RAM issue.

If it's stuck on Dell logo or gives an error:

1. Press F12 during boot to access diagnostics.

2. Run Dell’s hardware diagnostics (it checks memory, battery, drive, etc.)

Some other Common Fixes:
Remove external devices (USB, HDMI, SD cards) and reboot.

Boot into Safe Mode by pressing F8 or Shift + F8 (if Windows starts but freezes).

Try another charger if you suspect power issues.
