Inspiron One 2320, 4 beeps after replacing CPU. part 2
Hello, well, I'm creating this topic to continue with another one I started (well, I'm still new here, so I don't know why I can't reply to it anymore), and the most important information: yes, I updated the BIOS to A10; yes, the RAM memories are compatible (1333MHz). And in response to ejn63's last message, I recently bought an i7 with the 'S' letter, but it still has the same problem

At least as far as I can see, these shipped with sandy bridge CPUS -- 2xxx models. I don't think they support Ivy Bridge (3xxx).

What is the exact model of CPU you've installed (i.e. i7-2620S, etc.)?
You mentioned trying the i7-3770 (without the -S) which would not work, but neither will a 3rd generation CPU (3770S) even with the S. This system takes only second-generation Core i7-S CPUs.

What I was trying to install was an i7-3770S, but I saw people on the internet saying to use an i7-3770, or that the maximum you can put in is an i7-3770, even a post in the Dell community mentioned that. However, I only want this i7 for its integrated GPU, and setting up an eGPU would cost a good amount of money and energy.
But what's currently in the computer is what it came with, an i3-2120.

Well, I guess that's it then, in the end, there was no way after all.
