Inspiron nightmare

I bought an Dell Inspiron in April, 2025. This is October. Worked great as long as I didn't use it. It's OK to be fooled, but the price of this, $1500. was cruel joke on a family expecting some level of professional conduct from Dell.  Distain of the customer? Just one small person who paid for something made to sell rather than serve the customer's needs. A growing trend among oligarchs we see.

It's at the shop again because there is no sound coming from it. The jack port does not work, and no there is no sound. First trip cost about a hundred. This trip started with fifty to look at it so I don't know what it will cost this time. The first time the problem was the drivers (?) were conflicting with one another and my computer shut down each time I used it. Then I had to reboot and start over.

Technician says Dell cannot make high end laptops. It looks like he is right. I am typing on an old Toshiba and have never had a problem. All because my Toshiba will not accept Windows 11.

Computer seems to have a violent aggressive and persistent virus that keeps putting Microsoft edge when I want to use Chrome.  It did have a beautiful screen, but my mouse seems to be doing what it feels like instead of pointing where I intend.

I really wish I had visited this forum before I purchased a Dell product.

Why would a brand-new system need a paid repair?

The Tech at the company I took the lab top to said Dell does not do well with high end computers. Dell can't make them. He did resolve my problem. He said my "drivers were conflicting with one another" . (Much like the drivers on the streets where I live). He fixed that and reloaded the drivers for the sound. That works, as well as does the port for my head phones. I'm still learning to use that computer, I like it, but anticipating trouble in the future. Right now I am typing on my old Toshiba.
