Inspiron 7746 shuts down when fully charged

I have a Inspiron 7746.  It was working fine with Windows 8. I upgraded it to Windows 10 Pro.  It will fully charge ok.  Then randomly do a shut down.  If I unplug the charger before or as soon as it it fully charged it will run ok and then I need to plug the charger back in when the battery runs down.  I looked in the reliability monitor and the event viewer but I can't see anything for sure that causes the shut down.  It does a shutdown and not a crash.
