Inspiron 7506 2-in-1, P2722HE, DDPM, doesn't detect the keyboard and mouse
Inspiron 7506 2-in-1
Hi there
I have installed the newest Dell Display and Windows Peripheral Manager version. Unfortunately, the software does not detect the keyboard and mouse connected wirelessly through the USB receiver. What can be the cause?

DDPM (Dell Display and Peripheral Manager) software is only used with a Dell external monitor. Do you have a Dell external monitor connected to the 2021 out of warranty Inspiron 7506 2-in-1 HDMI or Thunderbolt4/USB-C video ports? If yes, what Dell external monitor model?

I have the exact same issue here. I had to utilize a bluetooth pairing to get this to work with my Dell Keyboard and mouse combo.
Seems like the included Dell Universal receiver just no longer works with Windows 11 Version 23H2.

Also, the HDMI connection does not enable the four blue USB-A downstream ports for the Inspiron 7506 2-in-1 to see them.
This should be your complete setup =
Inspiron 7506 2-in-1 AC adapter connected to left side power port
Inspiron 7506 2-in-1 left side HDMI out --> retail HDMI to HDMI cable --> P2722HE HDMI in port
Inspiron 7506 2-in-1 left side TB4/USB-C port --> P2722HE USB-C to USB-C cable --> P2722HE USB-C upsteam port. This enables all four of the P2722HE blue USB-A downstream ports
KM7120W USB-A wireless transmitter --> P2722HE blue USB-A downstream port

My setup is on a non Dell pc with the supplied Dell dongle plugged into any USB port on the motherboard rear plate. It simply doesn’t work anymore.

I have reinstalled DDPM again today in fact, Dell suggested installing it as previously I had uninstalled. The mouse and keyboard are connected via Bluetooth or a wireless receiver, and they are not visible to the software. Only monitor connected with HDMI or USB-C

@DELL-Chris M Is there some way to install the Dell Peripheral Manager version before the 27/03/25 update?

@Raflus1
Verbiage clarification due to Dell naming confusion.
DDM = Dell Display Manager
DDPM = Dell Display and Peripheral Manager
DPM = Dell Peripheral Manager
Yes, the FAQ Windows OS DDM and DDPM has the previous DDPM 2.0.0.72 February 20, 2025.

@DELL-Chris M Links for DPM download do not work. My current OS is Windows 11. BTW, has DDPM not replaced DPM for Windows 11?

You had previously mentioned "27/03/25 update" which is DDPM 2.0.1.16. So I referenced the earlier version of DDPM 2.0.0.72 February 20, 2025.
But now it appears that you want to install the older software DPM + DDM which still work. Just disregard the update prompt to DDPM. I just checked the links in FAQ Windows OS DDM and DDPM and they work.
The older DPM 1.7.7 is supported in Windows 11 Home/Pro/ARM 64.
The older DDM 2.3.2.23 is supported in Windows 11 Home/Pro/ARM 64.
