Inspiron 17 7779 Battery question..

I recently scored a deal on two 2017 Inspiron 17 7779 2in1's... (about $110 each) Both are in excellent condition, except for one needed a new battery. So I purchased a replacement battery off amazon based off the current battery model number, but when I installed it and plugged it in, I got an immediate message on the bios screen when I restarted it talking about a non genuine dell battery, and the system wont charge. Is there a workaround, or should I send it back and just opt for the more pricey but genuine dell battery? I dont want to keep using the original dell battery, as it is starting to swell.

Both had the optional 128gb m.2 ssd, and 1tb spinny hdd (which i swapped out both for 1tb ssd's that i already had) and work flawlessly other than the one with the battery.

First, the system isn't recognizing the AC adapter -- and when that happens, no battery will charge. If you're not using an OEM Dell AC adapter, that's the first thing to replace -- a non-OEM adapter won't charge the battery.

If you have an OEM adapter, one of three possibilities:

The adapter or the DC plug is bad, or

The DC jack in the system is bad, or

The charge circuit on the mainboard is bad.

Try the AC adapter from the other system to see if it works. If it is recognized, the adapter in question needs to be replaced. If it's not recognized, replace the DC jack next. If that doesn't get the adapter recognized, the charge circuit is bad and the mainboard will need replacement.

That leave the battery issue next. If the battery is not recognized, you can either replace it with another aftermarket battery to see if the system will work, or replace it with an OEM battery:
