Inspiron 16 7630, port choice for wired printer?

What port should i use on a Dell XP inspiron16 7630 to attach a wired printer?  I see an unidentified port on the left side between the USB C port and the HDMI port. Is that  a Thunderbolt port and would that work?

You can either use a Thunderbolt port with a  USB-C to -B cable, or a standard USB-A to -B cable and the USB 3.2 port.  You have both options.

@ejn63 Thank you for your prompt answer.  Which port is the Thunderbolt and which is the USB 3.2 port?

Thanks again. Is one option preferable to the other e.g. speed?

Not with a printer -- no.  That's not a high-speed/bandwidth device.
