Inspiron 16 7610, screen attachment issue

I purchased this laptop in Feb 2022 and it has been quite good except for one thing, the screen became partially detached from the palm rest. A common issue in this community. It has never been dropped and has only left my house once. Thanks to a poor design from Dell with plastic attachments for the screen, the palm rest has to be replaced. The hinges held up. And I understand from the repair guy that Dell cannot be bothered to supply this part only 3 years later and is having difficulty finding one. I don't want to hear any lecture from Dell about abuse, it is clearly Dell's fault for the poor design.
