Any updates user_99b598? The computer is up and running normally? No more cursor problem?

I had that. Try disabling the trackpad.

I am sorry to know you are still experiencing a cursor problem. Touchpad moving around may be caused due to outdated drivers, hardware failure, dirty touchpad surface, or touchpad sensitive setting is set to high. You mention updating the computer, you mean the drivers, firmware and applications from Dell? I did notice there are touchpad drivers in your Dell Product Support page. If you have not done so yet, update latest Dell touchpad drivers in link below.

Power off computer, wait a few minutes and then power on computer, hopefully there no more problems with the cursor. If cursor still moving on its own, we'll need exact model number and version of windows.
Example: Dell Inspiron 16, DC16250, windows 11.
Your Dell model number and version of windows is listed in System Information. Please press windows key and R key at same time, type msinfo32 into command box, select okay. In System Information, stroll down to System Model.
