Inspiron 15 5570 bleu screen
Hi everyone. After an electric blackout, my Inspiron 5570, is unable to start.
Everytime I try to start it, the blue screen appears and the laptop says that a check is required. It completes a check and cannot find anything. The system restarts but the blue screen appears once again, in an infinite loop.
We tried to change the SSD (sata M+P) with 3 slots of pins 6+....+5; we replaced it with a NVMe M2 (different pins but compatible, mabye). The problem hasn't been fixed, so it doesn't depend on SSD. This morning, after a deep auto check of the system it doesn't detect any problem, but the persistent blue screen refers to a "memory problem". Help me, please!

What exactly followed the attempt to use a newer drive? A Windows reinstallation?

Hi, thank you. Right! Since we thought the problem could be a damaged ssd, tried to replac it with a new one, charging the OS from a usb key. It took the installation file but wasn't able to install it. The blue screen appeared once again and the same loop (BS, automatic diagnosis, no problems detected, restart, ble screen...) started.

Unplug the system, disconnect the battery from the mainboard hold the power button for 30 sec. Remove and reinstall the memory modules. Reassemble and try booting again. If you still see the blue screen, try one memory module at a time in each slot. If one module causes the problem in both slots, replace it with a new one. If both modules cause a problem only when either is installed in one slot, it's the slot that's bad. That would leave two options -- run the system with a single module, or replace the mainboard (which will probably cost about what the system is worth even before any labor charge is considered).

@ejn63 really thank you for your support. I have installed a single memory module (8 GB), but a free slot that could host another module. So, if I have understood properly what you suggest:
- I have to Try to remove the module from the "slot one" (where it is hosted now) and install it in the "slot two", that now is free, empty. If the problem is fixed I can use the second slot and leave the first one empty; if the problem remains it should be the memory module, that I could try to reolace with a new one.
If you say me that my interpretation is correct, tomorrow morning I'll try what you gently suggested me.
Thank you so much for your help!!!!
Luigi, Italia.

If switching slots solves the issue, the original slot is bad. If not, the next step is to try a new memory module.

Hi
A picture of the Blue Screen may help.
If it is a DELL machine type of screen (not an MS OS one) I would also suspect the BIOS settings, and configuration.
I would try booting from a LIVE repair USB.
Rescuezilla or Hirens Boot CDPE.
