Inspiron 15 3530 hot while idling
No gaming or other intense use, but the keyboard, in the center becomes quite warm. A system check shows that the CPU is 71C. Again, my research indicates this temp would be normal under intense use, but it's only idling. I've adjusted the Dell Thermal Management to the "cool" setting so the fan definitely kicks on. Is there anything else I can check or try?

Click here for information to resolve overheating with your laptop.
To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.
