Inspiron 15 3520, persistent issue with external audio
I have two issues to report on:
1. persistent audio issue while connected to a headset through my audio jack. repeated interactions with Dell support has not resolved the issue. They will ask to install drivers they provide and for awhile that will work but the problem keeps recurring. While I can hear the issue is delivery of my voice to the other side.
2. The " key is problematic as I need to hit the " twice and backspace to get the ". This is a weird behavior which I don't get with other laptops.
I feel the quality of Dell laptops has deteriorated compared to the ones I had before.

I can see these posts are from years ago and I can tell you that Dell has yet to resolve these audio issues in 2025 which is absolutely shocking!
My experience with Dell is quality has really gone down compared with years ago when I was very satisfied with older generations of Inspiron. By contrast Lenovo has improved and I have absolutely no issues with my Lenovo.
My Inspiron is also inferior when it comes to the absence of basic ports like a USB-C on a 2025 machine!

Quality of Dell laptops have deteriorated compared with past models. I am very disappointed with my Dell Inspiron 15 3520 which I purchased earlier this year.
