Inspiron 15 3511 - Laptop won't turn on

For a backstory, I recently had to change the back lcd cover of this laptop as the hinges were too tight and completely ripped off the plastic holding the back cover together with the front of the screen. This isn't my first repair for this issue and the other ones have been successful thus far. Now for this one, After making those changes, and reconnecting the parts back it refused to turn on. This meant, no fan activity, no backlight, not even the caps lock. At first, i thought maybe it was the power, plugged it in, the LED showed a faint white blinking light, constantly blinking. I left it overnight to charge in case the battery was drained but this morning still the same status.

I've tried draining the power, resetting the clock, swapped out the battery for another working laptop's battery, tested with another ac adapter and nothing. When I hold the power button down the LED light goes into a solid white but only for the length of time i am holding the power button.  I'm hoping it is not the motherboard hence the post but all suggestions are appreciated.

I even tried turning it off without a ram and storage connected. Looked for burn components and loose components and have found absolutely nothing. Thank you!

Its hard to say what the issue is.  You may have disconnected something when you were working on the laptop.  You may need to take it to a certified technician to get repaired.  You can also click the Get Help Now icon to the right of this post.

To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them.  Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.
