Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1, 6 years old, faulty device

I have purchased this model laptop around 6 years ago and I would not have used it for even a few months on the whole. In the first few months of usage the device got heated so bad and switched off. it couldn't be turned on. So we approached an authorised service centre in coimbatore.

They said that the mother board of the laptop has to be changed. we got it serviced from them. And not even a few months passed before it vibrated very badly while charging and never turned on. we were so fed up at this point that we did not approach the service centre for a few months after that. Later when we took the laptop to the same service centre again. They stated some other issues and asked for 10 k to get that fixed. However we couldn't get back to them because of a few personal reasons for about 1½ years. Recently when we visited the service centre and asked for our laptop they stated that the spare for this model is not available anymore and that the laptop cannot be fixed.

We trusted Dell when we spent around 1 lakh on a laptop. I am a grade 12 student and my dad got this for me thinking that it will be useful for my studies. Dell turned out to be such a disappointment for us. Not even a few months of proper usage and so many faults in it. What do you mean there are no spares available for the model anymore and can't get it fixed? Do I throw my 1 lakh outside just like that?
