Inspiron 13 5378 2-in-1, no Network connection
Randomly I’m unable to connect to the Internet nor hotspot via my phone.
laptop was working totally fine yesterday afternoon, however in the evening magically it has been disconnected from the network
initially I thought laptop was in flight mode, however that’s not the case
I’ve tried everything, but seems as though some functions are randomly missing

System model? Inspiron 3501, etc.?
Does the wifi driver appear in the control panel?
What model wifi card does the system have?
What updates or changes have been recently applied?

Inspiron 13 5378 2-in-1
wifi driver doesn’t appear in the control panel - neither can I connect via hotspot on my phone
last update was on the 10/04/2025, however the laptop was working totally fine after this

It won't, until you take the system out of flight/airplane mode. In that mode, wifi is disabled.

Update from me, I’m able to connect via Ethernet and not via wifi.

I'm having to connect via Ethernet to the Internet since Wifi is not an option which can be selected - nor can i connect via Hotspot
I've uninstalled the Wifi Drivers, however now unable to reinstall it due to an error message attached

See above. Your system is in flight/airplane mode. In that mode, wifi is disabled.

100% flight mode is off this is the bizzare concern. I’ve checked a number of times already - not sure why suddenly the WiFi card is disconnected
