Subject: Urgent: System Freeze Issue – Dell G15 5530
Dear Dell Support,
I am experiencing critical system stability issues with my Dell G15 5530 laptop (Intel Core i5, NVIDIA RTX 3050). The laptop randomly freezes completely: the screen becomes unresponsive, keyboard and mouse do not work, Caps Lock does not light up, and a continuous “dzzzz” sound can be heard. The only way to recover is a hard shutdown by holding the power button.
This problem occurs both in Windows 11 and during Windows built-in memory diagnostics. Notably, the system freezes around 20% into the RAM test. Temperatures for CPU and GPU remain within normal ranges, BIOS is up to date, and the issue occurs regardless of system load (gaming, YouTube, or idle).
Based on these tests, the issue is most likely related to the motherboard or memory controller, rather than the RAM modules or drivers.
I request urgent diagnosis and replacement of the motherboard under warranty.

You need to start by contacting Dell warranty support and walking through the troubleshooting they ask for.
This can be done by chat or phone, but starts with contacting technical support.
