G15 5520, Corsair Vengeance ram issues
So, I was trying to upgrade the ram on the G15 5520, with Corsair Vengeance 2x 16gb ddr5 sodimm 4800MHz sticks. But when I do, in any configuration, I get the 5 white 2 amber lights. I got those specifications from both the Dell spec sheet and the motherboard, but nothing works. Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

Some gaming memory would require XMP profile for them to work.
Try this Crucial 32GB kit instead.

@Chino de Oro But it's designed to be a gaming computer. Given that it meets all the criteria, without exceeding in any way, why would xmp be required? There's not even an intent to overclock, let alone run past the motherboards limit of 4800MHz

Dell systems are very picky at memory. Gaming memory may have different timing, too aggressive maybe and system doesn't adjust to pass POST.
Higher speed RAM can be used and it will downclock to the rate the CPU is rated for.
