Enabling wake on lan on Inspiron 3501
Win 11 on Inspiron 3501
For the life of me, I cannot get Wake on Lan to work.
I know saying that I have tried everything I've found searching the internet and even several AI generated "solutions" doesn't tell you what all I have done, but I've tweaked the BIOS and made all of the suggested changes in Device Manager.
So, the question is, has anyone successfully gotten WOL to work on an Inspiron 3501?
If so, what magical setting finally got it to work for you other than buying a different laptop?
Thanks in advance.

These systems are designed for home use -- they generally lack wake on LAN settings.

@ejn63 Thanks for the reply, I saw your similar reply to a post several years ago, but I was hoping against hope that someone that had one had figured out a solution. It has settings for WOL on the ethernet device, but there is nothing that explicitly spells out WOL in the BIOS, just some things that with a wild imagination you might think applied to WOL.
Just something I'lll have to look closely for when I buy my next laptop.
