Driver downloads from Dell Support show as complete but are the wrong file size.
Inspiron 3671
When downloading large driver files directly from the driver details page, files are sometimes a much smaller file size. They show complete in the browser. They look like a proper .exe file, but are incomplete, and do not work. After several tries I get the correct file size. This has happened on different Inspiron model laptops. Chrome and Edge browser. After clearing browsing data. Latest time happened on Inspiron 7300 2-in-1. Driver was Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_KKY25_WIN_6.0.9517.1_A84.EXE. File Size: 583.93 MB. First try was 86.0 MB, second was 92.0 MB, third try was correct. I checked the MD5 hashfile on each download and the third one was correct. The results are as follows:
C:\Users\_______>certutil -hashfile "C:\Users\_______\Downloads\Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_KKY25_WIN_6.0.9517.1_A84.EXE" MD5
