Drive Space For Windows 11; Small SSD
Dear Dell Community;
My Dell laptop must soon be upgraded to Windows 11. There is only 30 GB of space remaining on the 128 GB main drive where almost only the operating system and programs are installed. Is the 30 GB space remaining on the 128 GB main drive enough to comfortably upgrade to Windows 11 home? I have been looking online and the space requirement for upgrading to W11 is 64 GB. Microsoft is offering me the upgrade in Windows update, W11 Version 24H2, and indicating my lap top is adequate but I am concerned about the drive space. I would really appreciate any comments or suggestions you all have.
The lap top is Dell Inspiron 3780, 128 GB SSD, 1 TB disc storage drive (documents, photos, videos, scans, etc.), intel i7-8565 cpu @ 1.8 GHz, 2 GB graphics card, 8GB RAM, 64 bit, operating system is Windows 10 Home.
Thank you for your help.

Replace the 128G drive with a new one -- even a 512 or 1T NVMe drive won't be all that expensive. Even if you can get the upgrade to work, 128G really isn't enough to run windows 11 for very long before you end up having to delete files and free up space.

Thank you very much for your reply. That sounds reasonable to me.
