Dell Laptops 2025 | Expert Recommendation to Choose

I have researched Dell laptops over the past few days because I’m planning to upgrade to a reliable, long-lasting laptop for regular productivity and media use. After checking reviews on TechRadar, Tom’s Guide, and Dell’s official site, I’ve shortlisted two touchscreen models from the Inspiron series.

I’d appreciate your thoughts or experience with either of these:

 Dell Inspiron Touchscreen Laptop, 15.6″

Dell Inspiron 15 15.6" Touchscreen Laptop

https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Inspiron-15-Touchscreen-Computer/dp/B0B9SVC7CB

My usage includes:

  • Office apps, Zoom/Meet, browsing

  • Streaming, light gaming

  • Portability and decent battery life

Which one would be the better buy in terms of long-term performance and reliability? Or if there’s a better Dell alternative in this range, do let me know!

Thanks in advance!

For reliable and long lasting, a Latitude (now Pro) system is a far better idea.  The Inspirons are budget-priced, consumer-grade notebooks -- they are not designed for long life, but rather for a low price.

I will jump into this thread as well and say I have the 13 Inch Dell Pro Laptop Formerly (Latitude) for almost 6+ months now.

Dell Pro 13 Premium Laptop (PA13250)

I bought this product to replace my older laptop I had over 5+ years and wanted to switch back to Dell. This laptop has served me very well and I also did a solid review on it. It is a bit more to spend out of pocket, but it is great for Zoom and Teams Calls, I never shut the device off past 3-4 days just close the lid left it on my desk when I was out of town and opened the screen and the laptop was between 75 and 80 percent battery. The lifespan of the battery last very well, I love the features on it and feels like a very premium laptop, and I have a feeling it will last me at least 5-6 years as I take care very good care of my devices and make sure they are kept up to date. I will say as well there is many accessible USB Type C and Regular USB Ports with the HDMI port as well. This device is amazing for productivity, and it feel just amazing and breeze when doing multitasking projects and work on it on a day-to-day basis. I will say too I wouldn't be surprised if this laptop also did well on gaming because with the specs I have it feeling it can be similar to what the XPS line was as well.

This would be one of my top picks for laptops for 2025 for both work & business, personal use and even school use as well!
