Dell laptop keeps disconnecting from Wi-Fi — how to fix?
My Dell laptop has been sporadically disconnecting from Wi-Fi, which is a problem. It will connect and function properly, but then all of a sudden the connection drops and I have to rejoin. Sometimes it reconnects automatically, but other times I have to restart the laptop or Wi-Fi.
It's starting to get frustrating, particularly while I'm attempting to complete my schoolwork.
I believe there may be a problem with the laptop itself because I've previously tried resetting my router and checking other devices, and they appear to stay connected without any issues.
Has anyone else have this laptop problem? Should I try any adjustments, updates, or solutions to maintain a steady connection?
I appreciate any assistance in advance.

Hi
Please can you confirm the Make Model and OS, along with any configuration details like touch screen, backlit keyboard, SFF or tower etc etc.
What Wi-Fi card is installed?
Are you connecting to BOTH 2.4 and 5.0 frequencies?
If not, why not?
Run the command
ipconfig /all
and post the result.

Hello, I appreciate your quick response. The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 with a backlit keyboard and touchscreen, running Windows 11. The Realtek 8821CE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC is the Wi-Fi card. Although the 2.4 GHz option is also available, I primarily connect to the 5 GHz network. I think there might be an issue with the Wi-Fi card since the performance runs poorly overall.
