dell Inspiron 3558 Switchable graphics option is gone from BIOS after disabling it
Switchable graphics option is gone from BIOS after disabling it. In the device manager nvidia 920m is not shown. I try flash bios version A21 to get switchable graphics option but it didn't work. Any idea why the menu can be missing?

You will need to reseat the Nvidia graphics card, uninstalling reinstalling the Nvidia drivers etc. Once you have done this the other graphics card should return.

i flash the bios a20, then load defaults and exit. i re enter bios , the switchable graphics option came back under the video section. I think this event is like computrace event. Dell software engineers must create a new bios file to solve this problem . Have a nice day

With a system that's as old as this one (2016) and that doesn't support Windows 11, that's very unlikely.
