Dell Inspiron 17R N7110 Laptop Options
Hello there. I recently got my Dell N7110 laptop back out to use. Supposedly, the laptop doesn’t support Windows 10, yet Windows 7 that came with the laptop is no longer supported. I really don’t want to use Linux. If I wanted to try to use Windows 10, should I put it in a separate partition? Also, the laptop came with some software such as Adobe Photoshop Elements, DVD playing software, etc., but you have to restore the original factory settings to get everything back. Is there a way to get the software without having to restore everything? I’d appreciate any kind of help or advice that you can give me.

Bear in mind Windows 10 updates cease in less than six months as well.
The answer to the other question depends on whether you have a place to source the software - it's obsolete now, so Dell won't have it.
If you don't want Linux, there's not much future in a system this old.
