Inspiron 16 Plus 7620, Nvidia 3060, Intel Core i7‑12700H, 96GB Ram
Hi, I’d like to share my experience. The Intel Core i7-12700H officially supports up to 64GB of RAM but I wanted to upgrade my laptop with even more memory. I found a good deal on 2x Crucial 48GB DDR5-5600 SODIMM (CT48G56C46S5) modules. My system detected them at a maximum of 4800 MT/s, which is fine for me, but I was hoping for 5600 MT/s, mainly in case I decide to sell the laptop later (since there was no price difference for the faster modules):
I also think there wouldn’t be any problem running 128GB (2x64GB), but the price was 100 EUR higher for just
32GB more.

The max RAM speed for the i7-12700H is 4800 -- it can't run RAM any faster.

As for the RAM total, you'd have to try and see what happens.

@ejn63 yes, it says in the processor description, but it also says that the max is 64GB and it works for me on 96GB without any problems, maybe it would work on 128GB too
