Dell G5 5500 Second Hard Drive
Hello, I have G5 5500 that has a 238gb hard drive. I need more storage space. I attached some pics, It looks like there is a slot for a second hard drive. I am looking at a: Seagate 1TB BarraCuda 5400 RPM 128MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 2.5" Laptop Internal Hard Drive ST1000LM048. Can anyone tell me if that will work for my PC? And is the connector correct that is in the pic for the new hard drive? Thanks, Mark

Any 2.5" SATA notebook drive will work, but with the low cost of 1T SSDs, that would be a better idea than a spinning hard drive from a performance and reliability standpoint.

@ejn63 I looked for SSD and I found 1 for $90, does that sound about right?
