Dell G16 7630 Mute & Mic Mute keys not working

Question

So I recently bought the G16 (7630) and noticed that the mute/mic mute buttons don't work at all. They have a light like the caps lock key to show they're activated, but those also don't light up when pressed. All drivers are updated and current, so I am boggled to what's causing them not to work.

So I solved my own issue. Uninstalled/reinstalled realtek audio driver & then downloaded both keyboard firmware update utilities. After that, both keys proceeded to light up and function as normal.

Pease verify if the function key settings are enabled and check the combination enabled in in BIOS settings, whether the Mic/Mute shortcut key is set to work standalone or in combination with the function key. You may prefer to delete the current audio drivers, restart the PC, and then fresh install the latest version, it will eliminate any software/ applications' settings influence on the shortcut keys. Thank you!

I am glad to hear that you have resolved the issue. It appears that updating the keyboard firmware has successfully restored the Mic/Mute keyboard shortcut functionality.
