Dell G15 Charger LED Turns Off When Laptop Powers On

I am facing a strange issue with my Dell G15 and 180W charger. When the charger is connected only to the wall socket, the green LED stays on normally. Also, when the laptop is completely shut down, the charger works fine and the charging LED on the laptop glows properly. But as soon as I power on the laptop, within a few seconds the green LED on the adapter turns off completely and charging stops.
If I leave the charger unplugged for some time and reconnect it, it starts working again temporarily, but the same issue repeats once the laptop turns on. Has anyone faced something similar? What could be causing this issue?
