Dell G15 5530 BIOS Overheating
Hello, I need help.
I recently updated my Dell G15 5530 BIOS to 1.28.1 just after rebooting the CPU heat raised to 70-75°C with fans 100% speed and reaches 80°C on performance mode.
I am not running anything on it same setup same everything the only changes is the BIOS update, temp raises just when it boots.
I am not able to downgrade BIOS version since Dell blocked that.
Specs:
- i9-13900HX
- 32GB RAM
- RTX 4060 8GB Laptop
The attachment shows exactly what I am talking about!

Click here for resolving overheating issues with your laptop.
To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

@DELL-Jesse L Thank you for the instructions.
I did as mentioned, also i always keep my laptop clean doing cleaning regularly.
This still did not solve my problem. It was in normal heat state, I updated BIOS to 1.28.1 and at the exact same same minute just after update is done and PC has rebooted the temp raised high.
I am still hanging on the idea that the new BIOS version is causing the problem!
