Dell G15 5511 Will not power on without disconnecting and reconnecting the battery
My Dell G15 5511 laptop sometimes enters a state where it will not power on normally. When this happens the screen stays black and the power button does not respond. USB devices connected to the laptop still receive power, so USB hubs or LEDs remain on even though the laptop appears to be shut down. The system only starts again after opening the laptop and disconnecting and reconnecting the internal battery. During these events the battery icon in Windows can disappear and the system clock may reset. The issue appears to be related to the laptop intermittently losing communication with the battery, causing the system to behave as if no battery is installed and preventing normal startup until the battery connection is reset.

Hi
Is there a CMOS coin cell battery that could be changed?

Yes there is one, but I have already had it exchanged once. The problem only occurs when the laptop is in sleep or turned off and the power is disconnected or interrupted. Most of the time I close the lid of my laptop, which puts it into sleep. Later when I try to turn the laptop back on, it becomes completely unresponsive. All of my USB peripherals remain powered and working, but the screen stays black and the system does not turn on. The only way I have been able to recover the laptop is by opening the back panel, disconnecting the battery, and then reconnecting it.
