Dell docking station

Good morning can you tell me how I can make my Dell WD15 docking station work with my Dell G15 5520 laptop ?

The answer depends as much on the system configuration as the dock itself.

Only the system that ships with an nVidia 3060 GPU has Thunderbolt (i.e., video out over USB).  Lesser systems do not have USB-C support.  And this version of the dock doesn't have thunderbolt support.

It does appear to use displaylink for video support - meaning it should work within the limits of that technology if connected to a standard USB 3.0 port on the system.

It really depends on what you plan to connect to the docking station and on the performance levels you're expecting.

If your notebook has Thunderbolt, a better choice would be a TB15 dock.  If it doesn't, and you're using monitors up to FHD resolution you may be able to make the WD15 work.

If your plan is high resolution external screens, the WD15 will not serve your needs.

Any USB keyboard and mouse will work fine.

The other thing you won't get is the ability to charge the notebook over USB -- you will need to directly connect the original power adapter to the system.
