Dell 7577 (Inspiron 15 gaming) BIOS/TPM question?
Hi! I have an issue with my out-of-warranty 7577 (7300HQ & GTX 1060 mq).
My Windows event viewer has multiple TPM-WMI errors like this:
Secure Boot certificates have been updated but are not yet applied to the device firmware. Review the published guidance to complete the update and ensure full protection. This device signature information is included here.
DeviceAttributes: FirmwareManufacturer:Dell Inc.;FirmwareVersion:1.17.0;OEMManufacturerName:Dell Inc.;OEMModelSKU:0802;OSArchitecture:amd64;
BucketId: f5bd106d4dd5a009f89bd5eb170ee641160f073c4a4f7f86c8fad608269f3c2d
The latest BIOS for this device is dated 27 Apr 2022. Can we get a newer BIOS with the updated Secure Boot certificates and / or a TPM firmware update?
All of my drivers are updated, all of Dell's bloatware is installed (Dell Update, SupportAssist, etc.), there are no newer drivers available.
Thank you in advance.

This is unlikely -- this 2017 system has been end of life for some time.

I have a 7577 and am seeing no problems. It will not run Windows 11 after the first Windows update.
If you want to update the TPM and there is no utility on the download site, then check the Bios for something like PTT or something similar. Mine has an i7-7700HQ processor.
