Dell 7472 | Battery only charge up to 7 or 8% after upgrading RAM. How to fix?

Hi all!

I upgraded my RAM from the default 8 GB to 16 GB (Crucial), using all the same specs as Crucial suggested on their website. The laptop was unplugged, and I removed the battery plug before replacing the RAM. Once done, I booted the laptop, and everything went well, with noticeable performance improvements, except that the battery would not charge past a certain percentage.

What I have done so far:

> Checked the battery life data in CMD: DESIGN CAPACITY 39,900 mWh | FULL CHARGE CAPACITY 34,177 mWh
> Did troubleshooting: no change
> Reverted to original stick: still not charging normally

Does anyone have any idea what went wrong and how this can be fixed? Appreciate the help!
