Booting from m.2 nvme on Pavilion P6000

I have a Pavilion P6000   model # P6777c and a Optiplex 3886   neither of these has bios support for booting from a m.2 nvme .  With the 3886 I am able to use the Clover boot loader on a usb drive to boot from a Pci nvme drive but just can't have any luck with the P6000 .  Heck with the P6000 when I try to use the Clover boot loader the computer can't even boot to the clover menu. And yes the Clover usb is using MBR and formated in fat32.  But I noticed something else strange I have a Hirems boot CD  ( that's it's name ) well I have it on a USB drive formated with MBR and using fat 32 and the computer won't boot from it either but will boot from other bootable usb drives.  Oh I  have another computer and don't need to run a nvme in this one but still would like to it's a shame Dell couldn't have an updated bios to do that.

We can't speak to the HP system, but the 3886 must be an Inspiron, not an OptiPlex, and it supports only SATA drives.  It does not support NVMe drives.

That's a separate issue from USB booting (unless you've installed the NVMe drive in a USB external case).

@ejn63 Boy is my face red serves me right I posted this before coffee .  I have a HP P6000 that I am having trouble with so shouldn't have posted here. And I have a inspiration 3668   and with it I am able to use the Clover Boot loader which then provides support for booting NVMe drives and it works quite well.
