Blinks 5 white then 2 amber, screen won’t turn on

I have a Dell-Inspiron 15 15.6 touch screen. It suddenly quit working. My screen isn’t turning on at all, but where you plug in the battery is blinking 5 white and 2 orange(amber). When I try to turn it on; the caps lock light, lights up white. It has an eternal battery, you have to take the whole back off. I can take the back off if needed. I use this everyday for school I only have one so I’m really struggling to get this fixed. I’m still paying on it as well, and Best Buy said I had to go through dell to get it fixed!
