Battery Upgrade on dell 5410 Laptop
Hello,
is it possible to upgrade from the 42Wh/11.4V to 68Wh 15,2V? Could find both answers - but anyone tried successfully?
Space for an bigger battery is available because of an unused 2,5" harddisk.
I'm only scared because of the higher voltage. The 5410 is sold with both versions...

The voltage will not be an issue - the system will auto-adjust for that. The size of the battery might be -- you can use the service tag to check compatibility (parts-people.com), or visually check. It's not uncommon for systems to come with a different palmrest assembly for a larger battery and if yours doesn't have that, you may have to replace or physically alter the existing one to fit the larger battery.
